Member of the Week – Jesse McCabe

In some ways, Jesse is “the kid” who we all had the opportunity to watch grow up before our eyes. But in other ways this isn’t accurate (partly because this “kid” already looked like a 40 year-old man when he joined the gym). One thing is for sure: His love of the Sport of Fitness has been absolute from moment one. Eat, Sleep, CrossFit, Repeat. It reads like a slogan from a t-shirt, but it sums up the sort of competitor Jesse was in those early years.

Nowadays Jesse’s existence is much more complex than focussing on CrossFit alone. Always a very capable young man, Jesse has set his sights on a noble goal for the future. This January he will begin a new chapter in his life as he attends the Atlantic Police Academy. In the meantime, Jesse will continue to fill the role he has at Court 6 since he first walked in the door. He’ll be “Bam Bam.” An incredibly strong, ferociously fit, wonderful person to WOD beside.
