Member of the Week – Amanda Mellish

A few years ago I remember taking a group of athletes through one of Court 6 CrossFit’s fundamentals programs. In that group was an incredibly soft-spoken and seemingly timid participant. She was extremely quiet and cautious, but it was obvious that she was very interested in what Court 6 had to offer. I remember thinking at the time, “She’s going to thrive in this gym.” That was my introduction to Amanda Mellish.

Fast forward a few years- Amanda’s progress has been a lot of fun to watch. Her confidence has grown exponentially over her time at Court 6. A fine example of what a CrossFit athlete should be, Amanda is up for anything, never hides from weaknesses, and has a lot of fun conquering workout after workout. If she has bad days, she sure doesn’t show it at the gym. There’s nothing but positivity when Amanda is around. Coachable, kind, and supportive. Competitive, driven, and strong. All perfect descriptors for Amanda.
