Athlete of the Week - Heather Dixon

This week Court 6 says goodbye to a long time member and a friend to all. Heather has been a committed and involved part of our community, positively influencing and inspiring other members since April, 2015. Over her time at Court 6 we’ve all come to understand some undeniable truths about Heather. She is a giving person. She tells it how it is. She is kind. And she handles adversity the same way she handles everything else – with intelligence, tenacity, and class. Court 6 will be sad to see Heather go, and her absence in the gym will certainly be felt; however, one thing I can guarantee is that it won’t take long for her new CrossFit gym in Kelowna to understand what a special member they are gaining. Our loss will be their gain. When you see Heather this week, be sure to wish her well on her new adventures in Western Canada. We look forward to your visits in the future, Heather.
